A poker run is an organised event where participants must visit five checkpoints drawing a playing card at each one. The object is to have the best poker hand at the end of the run. The event has a time limit, however the participants are not timed—winning is purely a matter of chance
This is an excellent way to spend some time with like minded people with performance orientated boats. We would love to see the race boats entering, but basically anything engine powered can enter. There is an entrance fee and the winner of the best hand takes the prize money. The more boats we get the bigger the prize money.
We have some big plans for this year that are currently being organised. They may include around island, other islands and the coast of France. More specific details to follow.
